Privacy in the Pro beta
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This page is about the BounceBeat Pro beta (the studio at /studio). For the free app, see the general privacy page. The beta is run by Daniele Rainone, Slovakia. Contact: hello@bouncebeat.app.
What we collect
- Your email address and the date you joined, with the note that you agreed to beta emails and confirmed your age (16+, or a parent's permission).
- Feedback you choose to send: problem reports, feature ideas and reviews. Your email is attached to each one, so we know which tester it came from. A screenshot only if you add one.
- Browser details and recent error messages (browser and system version, screen size, language, the last error messages from the studio page): only with a problem report, and only if you tick the box for it.
- A name to show with a credit or a quote: only if you give one and tick the box that allows it.
We do not collect your songs or projects: they stay in your own browser. The beta has no accounts, no payments, no ads and no tracking cookies.
Why
- To send you beta updates ("Beta 0.2 is out") and to ask for your opinion.
- To fix bugs and decide what to build next.
- To send your tester discount when Pro launches.
The legal basis is your consent (the checkbox when you join, and the checkboxes on the forms). You can take it back at any time.
Who stores it
- Beta sign-ups (your email) and feedback (reports, ideas, reviews, screenshots): stored by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., United States), the company that hosts this website, in its forms service.
- Beta emails: when we start sending update emails we will use a newsletter service, MailerLite (European Union). Your email is only passed on to it for that purpose, and this page is updated before that happens.
- Website hosting: Netlify. Like any web host, it sees technical data such as your IP address when the page loads.
We do not sell your data and do not give it to anyone else.
Stored in your browser
The studio keeps these on your own device, so that it works: your current project, your email (so the sign-up screen does not come back), the day you first opened the beta, and a few "already seen" notes (the tour, What's new). This is local storage needed for the app to work, not tracking, so there is no cookie banner. Clearing your browser data removes it.
How long
Your email: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and at the latest 12 months after the beta ends. Feedback: up to 24 months; we remove your email from it on request.
Unsubscribe and delete
Every email has an unsubscribe link. To see, correct or delete your data, write to hello@bouncebeat.app. You can also complain to the Slovak data protection authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR).
Age
To join the beta you must be 16 or older, or have your parent's permission.
